Game 6 - July 1 - Netherlands vs. Dominican Republic

Then, Orange then opened the score in the bottom half.

With two outs, Anthony Beaumont walked, but the Dutch then left two runners behind.
In the top of the fourth inning, the Dominicans scored twice to turn the game its way.
Pablo Figuereo led off with a single, then Sergio La Hoz followed with a homerun.
The Dominicans added two runs in the fifth inning.
Visser gave up two singles, then saw the runners move on a sacrifice bunt.
He then gave up a single to Juan Nunez that brought in the two runners and made it 4-1.
Hereafter, Arjan Baanen took over the pitching and got two groundouts.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Dutch Team scored again.
Reliever Cesar Perez, who had taken over the previous inning, walked Glennsig Polonius, then gave up a runscoring double to Merlijn Brink.
When he hit next batter Rien Smulders with a pitch, starting pitcher Melvin Batista returned as pitcher.
He was supported with a double play and closed with a strikeout.
In the sixth, the Dominicans enlarged its lead by adding two more runs, which were the result of an error.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Orange narrowed the deficit to 6-3.
With one out, Enrique Javier singled and moved on a grounder.
He then scored on a double by Revin Brooks.
The Dominican squad took more distance by scoring two more runs in the seventh inning.
After a lead-off walk, Niek Nieuwenhuizen took over the pitching.
With one out, he gave up an RBI-triple to Pablo Figuereo, followed by a runscoring single by Segio La Hoz that made it 8-3.
Mexican closer Yennier Volquez then struckout the side in the bottom of the seventh inning to end the game.
