Saskia Kosterink is currently playing in her first season in Australia following her third season in the Italian Softball League, where she reached the final for the national championship with Bollate, where she played the last three seasons.
The Australian All Star Game will be played preceeding a 3-game series of the Australia Under 19 Team against New Zealand, who will meet on January 6-7.
Saskia Kosterink will play in the All Star Team together with pitcher Aimee Murch (who played in two seasons in the Dutch big league for Hotel Ambassador c.c. Terrasvogels), Italian National Team-player Ilaria Pino and American player Brittany Rumfelt (who also is Saskia's teammate in Western Australia).
Also elected to play in the squad are Australian National Team-players like Jocelyn McCallum, Stacey Porter and Melinda Weaver.
The All Stars will meet the Chairman's XV, which include Australian National Team-players like Chelsea Forkin, Judie Bowering, Verity Long-Droppert and (former Belgian) Brenda De Blaes.
