Five runs were added in the second inning. The bases were loaded when Eliza Rikkelman reached on an error, Franka van Dijk singled and Alma Hooi was hit by a pitch. The bases were then cleared when Jamie Spanjer followed with a 3-run triple. Hereafter, Nikki Harte reached on an error and Spanjer then scored the next run in a double steal-situation with one out. A single by Laura van Essen brought in Harte to make it 8-0.

The final two runs were added in the third inning. Franka van Dijk led off with a double and scored on a 2-out single by Nikki Harte, who later scored on a double by Richelle van Gennip.

Tex Town Tigers hit only two balls into the outfield, but collected eleven basehits in Game 2. Centrals led 8-3 after two innings, but TTT narrowed the deficit to only 8-7 after four at bats. From the fifth inning on, Centrals enlarged its lead and won 12-8.

In the first inning, Tex Town Tigers scored three runs. German National Team-player Maaike Ogink led off with a double and Annemiek Jansen walked. With two outs, singles by Marije ten Thij and Isa Los produced two runs, while another run was scored in a double steal-situation. Centrals got two runs back in its first at bat on a 2-run double by Kayleigh Adelina. The home team then appeared to take a decisive lead with a 6-run rally in the second at bat. With one out, Canadian Sara Pesonen doubled and Franka van Dijk singled, then both scored on a triple by Alma Hooi to put Centrals ahead 4-3. A double by Laura van Essen, wild pitch, sac-fly by Stephanie Ruiter and single by Nicolette van Reem led the other four runs in this inning.

In the third inning, TTT began to narrow the deficit by scoring twice. With two outs, Marije ten Thij singled and scored when Isa Los followed with a triple and scored when an error followed. Two runs were then added in the next inning on a 2-run triple by Nadine Marinus, which made it a 8-7 score.

But in the fifth inning, Centrals took more distance by scoring three runs. An error, single by Richelle van Gennip and basesloaded hit by pitch led to the runs and made it a 11-7 score. Centrals scored another run in the fifth on a force play-grounder. TTT was able to add only one more run in the seventh on a single by Laura Wissink.

At Haarlem, Oolders Omaco Sparks Haarlem registered two mercy-rule victories against Gryphons, winning 13-3 in four innings and 8-1 in five.

In the opener, Sparks Haarlem collected 12 basehits, including three by Australian Leigh Godfrey, who also scored three runs and had three RBI's.

But Sparks Haarlem initially faced a 2-0 deficit after the top of first inning. Starter Kirsten Scheele walked lead-off hitter Kim Donkers, then gave up a single to Fabienne van Uden. After a force out on a grounder by Cindy van der Zanden, two runs were scored on a double by Mariëlle Vleugels. Sparks Haarlem then followed with a 4-run rally with two outs in the second inning. Areke Spel led off with a walk and Shannah van der Kaaij singled. After the two advanced on a sac-bunt by Manoa Weijgertse, a groundout followed, then Leigh Godfrey put Sparks Haarlem ahead with a 2-run single. Singles by Nathalie Gosewehr and Debby Connor then increased the lead to 5-2.

Gryphons got one run back in the third when Fabienne van Uden scored on a passed ball, but Sparks Haarlem then took a commanding lead by scoring seven runs in the home of the third. The runs were scored on singles by Chantal Versluis and Leigh Godfrey, 2-run doubles by Nathalie Gosewehr and Karin Tuk and a sac-fly by Areke Spel. Sparks Haarlem then reached the 10-run difference by adding another run in the fourth on a walk-off single by Debby Connor.

In Game 2, both teams scored once in the third at bat. Gryphons opened the score on a single by Kim Donkers, then Sparks Haarlem came alongside on a single by Leigh Godfrey.

Sparks Haarlem then decided the game with a 6-run rally in the fifth inning, reaching a 7-run difference. Beau van Gelder led off with a single, but was forced out on a grounder by Chantal Versluis, who then stole second base and scored on a single by Godfrey to put the team ahead, 2-1. A dropped fly ball and throwing error then led to the next two runs and a pitching change. A single by Shannah van der Kaaij, sac-fly by Michelle van Driel and single by Beau van Gelder then scored three more runs to end the game.

Alcmaria Victrix vs. Hotel Ambassador c.c. Terrasvogels
At Alkmaar, Hotel Ambassador c.c. Terrasvogels defeated reigning Dutch champion Alcmaria Victrix with two big scores, 10-2 and 11-1. But while both games had a mercy-rule run-difference, both games went the distance, resulting in almost five hours of softball! Terrasvogels collected 29 basehits, including six by Solange Starrenburg, who reached base seven times, scored four runs and had four runs batted in.

In the first game (which lasted 1:58 hr), Terrasvogels opened the score right away in the first inning. Marisèla de Wind singled, reached third base on an error and scored while the batter was eliminated in a rundown. Two runs were added in the third. Cheryl Hiele and Petra van Heijst walked, then Solange Starrenburg (with one out) hit an RBI-single, while a wild pitch accounted for the next run.

In the fifth at bat, the lead was raised to 5-0. With one out, Starrenburg singled and Anouk van den Heuvel followed with a double. A grounder by Kate Gentile and single by Yonina Sint Jago then accounted for the runs.

In the sixth inning, two more runs were scored. Marije Schoenmaker led off with a double, Cheryl Hiele walked and Marisèla de Wind followed with a 2-run single. Trailing 7-0, Alcmaria scored twice in the home of the sixth to avoid a mercy-rule loss. With one out, the bases got loaded thanks to singles by Jessie van Aalst and Laura Treurniet, while veteran player Sandra Gouverneur walked. A single by Sophie Bugter then brought in a run, followed by a force out at home and a runscoring error on a grounder by rookie Desiree Adriaansz. Another force play followed, so Alcmaria left the bases loaded.

Terrasvogels reacted with three runs in the seventh at bat. Kate Gentile singled and Yonina Sint Jago doubled. Then a wild pitch, one-out single by Marije Schoenmaker and 2-out triple by Petra van Heijst made it 10-2.

In the second game, Terrasvogels also opened the score in the first inning, thanks to a single by Solange Starrenburg. Two runs followed in the next inning. The first on a single by Lisa Waasdorp, who then scored herself on a single by Yonina Sint Jago. A single by Kate Gentile in the third inning then made it 4-0.

Alcmaria got one run back in the home of the third when Jessie van Aalst led off with a triple and scored on a sac-fly by Laura Treurniet, but this would be the team's lone run.

Terrasvogels had two productive final at bats, scoring seven runs. Three runs were scored in the sixth on singles by Solange Starrenburg (who was 4-for-5), Marije Schoenmaker and Kate Gentile (who was 3-for-3). A 4-run rally followed in the seventh. Petra van Heijst (who was 3-for-4) led off with a double, then a force play-grounder by Starrenburg, 2-run double by Anouk van den Heuvel and single by Gentile made it 11-1.

Malou van Dusschoten pitched the second game (which took 2:33 hr), struckout eight and gave up seven basehits to her former teammates.

UVV opened the score with two runs in the first inning. Laura Arp and Mirjam Boode led off with walks, then moved on a sac-bunt by Stephanie Reid. A walk for Sanne Bolhuis then loaded the bases. Next, a run was scored on an error on a force play-grounder, then the next run was scored on a basesloaded walk for Melissa Burger. But UVV also left the bases loaded when Lindsey Meadows took over the pitching and struckout the two batters she faced.

UVV added a run in the second inning off of Dominique Sprengers, who then returned as pitcher and completed the game. The run was scored when Laura Arp tripled and scored on a single by Mirjam Boode, but UVV again stranded three runners.
