 Two mercy-rule victories for Tex Town Tigers

Tex Town Tigers won big twice on Saturday (May 9) vs. Alcmaria Victrix.
The Enschede-squad won 8-1 and 10-0, with both games ending via the mercy-rule.
Both games ended within an hours.
The first game lasted 56 minutes, then second one 53 minutes.
Before the start of the first game, Tex Town Tigers honored player Isa Los for playing in her 100th career game for the main squad of the club.
Veteran player Nadine Marinus homered for the home team in the opener.

Game 1
In the first game, Tex Town Tigers got on the board quickly, as Nadine Marinus led off the first inning with a homerun!
Hereafter, Shaneequa Kock singled and Annemiek Jansen walked.
After the two advanced on a grounder, the second run was scored via a sacrifice fly by Lindsey Meadows, who went the distance for Tex Town Tigers as pitcher.
The righthander struckout five batters and gave up only three hits.
Two runs were added in the third inning.
This time, Nadine Marinus led off with a triple.
With two outs, she scored when Alana Westerhof reached on an error, then a double by Lindsey Meadows made it 4-0.
A 4-run rally followed in the fourth inning.
Daniëlle ten Donkelaar led off with a single and advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Cheyenne Scheffer.
Nadine Marinus was then walked intentionally, but Isa Los, who was inserted as pinch-hitter, then delivered an RBI-single, followed by a 2-run triple by Annemiek Jansen.
The latter then scored herself on a grounder by Alana Westerhof to make it an 8-0 score.
Alcmaria Victrix scored its lone run in the fifth when Shantae Duren singled and went on to score on a sac-fly by Nikita Bing.

Game 2
In the second game, Tex Town Tigers staged two big rallies to built a 10-run difference.
Six runs were scored in the second inning when the home team collected seven basehits.
Alana Westerhof led off with a single, then Lindsey Meadows reached on an error, which resulted in five unearned runs, as later two grounders followed, which would have ended the at bat.
A single by Laura Wissink then brought in the first run.
Hereafter, Monique Mooi doubled in a run, followed by a runscoring grounder by Romy van der Wielen, RBI-double by Nadine Marinus, RBI-single by Shaneequa Kock and RBI-single by Annemiek Jansen.
Alcmaria Victrix only reached base in the second inning.
Shantae Duren then led off with a single and Nikita Bing singled with two outs, but the two were left behind.
Tex Town Tigers then reached the 10-run difference in the bottom of the fourth inning.
With two outs, Shaneequa Kock, Annemiek Jansen and Alana Westerhof all singled to load the bases.
Hereafter, Lindsey Meadows followed with a 3-run, baseclearing double and scored the tenth run on a walk-off single by Laura Wissink.
