Game 1
After the Talent Team stranded two runners in scoring position in the top of the first inning, Olympia Haarlem opened the score moments later in its first at bat.
Eva Voortman led off with a single, stole second base, then scored on an one-out triple by Stephanie Tofft.
With two outs, Olympia got another baserunner when Dominique Sprengers walked in her first at bat since returning home from the States after completion of her college-season.
But the home team then left two runners behind.
The lead was shortlived, as the Juniors scored twice in the second inning off of starter Stephanie Tofft.
Isa Los led off with a bunt-single, then advanced on a throwing error and scored when Dervisa Mutic followed with a triple.
With one out, Wies Ligtvoet singled to give the Talents a 2-1 lead, but she later stranded herself on third base.
In the bottom of the second inning, Olympia Haarlem rallied for four runs off of Ilona Andringa, who went the distance for the Talent Team.
Rosanne Vries led off with a triple, then Stephanie Ruiter walked.
A wild pitch then tied the score and a double by Rachel van Veen gave Olympia a renewed lead.
Van Veen then advanced on a flyout and scored on a bunt-single by Eva Voortman, who later scored on a sacrifice fly by Merel Oosterveld to make it a 5-2 score.
In the top of the 3rd inning, the Talent Team threatened to score again, as it got the bases loaded, but the three runners were left behind.
In the fourth, off of new pitcher Eva Voortman, the Junior-squad again left two runners.
Olympia Haarlem then took more distance by scoring two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
With two outs, Eva Voortman and Dinet Oosting hit back-to-back doubles, resulting in a run, then Stephanie Tofft added an RBI-single to make it 7-2.
In the top of the fifth, Tofft returned in the pitching circle for Olympia.
The Juniors then got one run back via a wild pitch and had a runner on third base with two outs when Tofft caught a bunt to end the inning.
In the sixth, the Talent Team narrowed the deficit to 7-6 by scoring three runs with two outs.
Lizzie Clarijs led off with a walk, moved on two grounders, then scored on a wild pitch.
Next, Manoa Weijgertse also walked and scored on a double by Laura Wissink, who then scored the next run on a following triple by Isa Los.
That brought Voortman back as pitcher, who then ended the inning with a strikeout with a runner on third base.
In the seventh inning, Voortman struckout the first two batters, then saw the next one reach on an error, but closed with another strikeout to secure the win.
