After lost the first two games via the 7-run difference mercy-rule in six innings, Alcmaria Victrix played a good game today.
It registered only three hits off of American pitcher Kaitlyn Medlam, but on the other hand, the team gave up only four runs.
Kaitlyn Medlam allowed only three players to reach base (all with a single), who all stranded on first base.
She struckout nine batters.
Medlam started the game with three strikeouts in the first inning and retired the first ten batters in a row.
Her No-Hitter ended with one out in the fourth inning when Kim Buizer singled down the leftfield-line, but stranded at first base.
In the fifth inning, with two outs, Malou Smit registered the second Alcmaria-basehit, but also was left on first base.
In the sixth, also with two outs, Kim Buizer hit her second basehit, again stranded on first base and was the last player to reach base.
Nienke Verhofstad pitched for Alcmaria Victrix and also started with a strikeout.
Hereafter, Twins got two baserunners when Minke Blok (with one out) and Sophie Bugter (with two outs) walked, but they were left behind.

In the second inning, the first two Twins-batters reached base, but also were left behind.
Noor Godefroy led off with a single and Femke Duffhues walked.
They moved on a sacrifice bunt by Shauni Thys, but then stranded.
Twins then opened the score in the third inning with two runs.
Minke Blok led off with a walk, advanced on a grounder by Sandy Lauwers, then scored on a single by Sophie Bugter.
With two outs, the latter scored the next run when Noor Godefroy also singled.
Femke Duffhues followed with another single.
But after advancing on a wild pitch, the two stranded.
Alcmaria avoided another run in the fourth inning.
With two outs, Minke Blok tripled for Twins, but she was left behind on third base.
But in the fifth inning, the team from Oosterhout added two unearned runs, which were scored with two outs.
Noor Godefroy and Femke Duffhues then walked.
Both scored when a fly by Shauni Thys ended in an error.
In the sixth, Minke Blok again was left behind at third base.
And with that, Twins took a 4-0 lead into the top of the seventh inning.
Kaitlyn Medlam then retired the side to end the game and completed the 3-game sweep.
Shortly after completion of the game, everyone of Twins left Hoofddorp quickly to travel to Dordrecht where the baseball-team of Twins was playing its third game of its Promotion/Relegation Series against Mampaey The Hawks.
The baseball-team won 13-1 and with that also promoted back to the big league.
Afterwards, both teams returned home to their site in Oosterhout to celebrate the double promotion.
