PHOENIX, Arizona (USA) -
On Sunday (March 21), Chadwick Tromp (San Francisco Giants) became the second player from the Netherlands Kingdom to hit a grand slam homerun in this years Major League Spring Training.
It also was Tromp's first homerun ever in a Spring Training-game, but not his first as a Major League-player.
Tromp hit the homerun on his birthday, as he turned 26 on Sunday.
On March 13, Didi Gregorius hit a grand slam playing for Philadelphia Phillies.
At Camelback Ranch-Glendale in Phoenix, San Francisco Giants played an away-game at Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.
Los Angeles opened the score in the first inning when Corey Seager homered, San Francisco came alongside in the second on a homerun by Evan Longoria.
After Los Angeles had scored in the second inning, San Francisco added two runs on a homerun by Mike Yastzemski in the third.
Los Angeles scored twice in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead for the third time (4-3), but then was held scoreless in the remainder of the game.

In the top of the seventh, with San Francisco now leading 6-4, James Pazos took over the Dodger-pitching.
He walked lead-off hitter Mauricio Dubón.
In 2019, when he was with Milwaukee Brewers, Dubón became the second player from Honduras to play in the Major League.
Dubón advanced on a wild pitch, then pinch-hitter Logan Wyatt also walked.
Pazos followed with a strikeout, but then got the bases loaded when he also walked pinch-hitter Arismendy Alcántara.
The walk to the Dominican batter led to a pitching change.
Venezuelan José Martinez took over and began with a strikeout.
But hereafter, on an 1-0 count, Aruban-born Tromp connected well and drove the ball into deep leftfield for a grand slam homerun!
And that lifted the score to 10-4.
In the ninth inning, Mexican Victor González was the new pitcher for Los Angeles.
With two outs, Tromp got his third at bat, but this time, he struckout again.
Chadwick Tromp played in his first Major League Spring Training-game in 2016 when he was with Cincinnati Reds.
In his lone game, he didn't bat, but scored a run.
Two years later, he played in six Spring Training-games for Cincinnati and was 2-for-5.
Tromp was a Free Agent after the 2019 season, then was signed by San Francisco in January 2020.
During Spring Training last year, he played in nine games and was 3-for-13.
Including Sunday's game, Tromp played in 11 Spring Training-games this year and is now 4-for-21 (.190), which includes his first homerun.
He scored twice and batted in five runs.
On July 29 last year, Tromp made his Major League-debut.
In the abbreviated season, the catcher played in 24 games and batted 13-for-61 (.213), including one double and four homeruns.
Tromp scored 11 runs and batted in ten.
This season, Tromp will begin in Triple-A.
On March 15, he was optioned to Sacramento River Cats.
Tromp signed his first professional contract in 2013 with Cincinnati Reds.
In 2016, he makes his debut in the Netherlands National Team with whom he wins the title in the European Championship, which is held in Hoofddorp and Nieuw-Vennep (Netherlands).
In his first at bat during that event, Tromp hits a 2-run homerun.
The following year, due to an injury, Tromp is added to the active Netherlands-roster (as a replacement player) for the Semi-Final of the World Baseball Classic, but doesn't play.
